Farewell and Welcome

In December 2006, I blogged about welcoming two babies into our family - our new baby FJR 1300 aka 'Fatty Bom Bom' (FBB) and me being pregnant with our firstborn, Haryz Aiman. Today however, my entry is about the farewell of FBB and the birth of our second son, Khairul Iman.

With the birth of Khairul, our family now consists of four members. Expenses has gone up and we are also considering the purchase of a car in the future. Hubby and me thus decided to get a smaller bike in replacement of our beloved. The night before the sale, both of us were moody and sombre, especially hubby. He asked me out for a last ride on the bike, but I declined considering my 2 kids who needed looking after. That was a decision which I very much regretted :( On the 28th of Nov 2009, hubby sold his FJR with much reluctance. That was the last day I heard hubby ride out of our parking lot, and I remember saying a silent farewell. I remember hw I used to look out for the sound of hubby riding back from work or riding off for his trips overseas. The thought that this is the last filled me with nostalgia.

On 30th Nov, I followed hubby to Bt Merah Industrial to sign on as the guarantor for his new bike. When I saw FBB there, I could barely hold back my tears. Over the years, my thought of hubby is always of him on the bike... coming to fetch me from work, going off for a trip and etc. None of our friends believed us when we told them that we're letting go of the bike. Well.. life goes on. But you will be sorely missed!

On another note, we would like share our joy in welcoming our second born to our world. Khairul Iman, meaning sebaik-baiknya Iman, was born at Thomson Medical on 22nd Oct 2009 at 0759hrs. I have been on leave since 1st Sept to spend more time with Haryz and to give myself some rest. Back again are sleepless nights and busy days... I could no longer tell which day is which anymore :) I am so much looking forward to the end of my 44 days confinement period, so that I can plan trips to town. I have been confining myself in Woodlands (if nt at home) the last 6 weeks or so.

Oh yes... funnily, a very good friend also gave birth on the same date. We've been sms-sing each other to share the pain, tghe trouble of beong pregnant, only to give birth on the same day. Welcome Nur Qisya Aaliyah to the world!

Oh wells... I think I have lost my blogging capabilities. Bt will be blogging more regularly now (I will try!) to improve. Will be seeing more of blogspot in the new future. See ya!
